My daughter Courtney has been a team member on the Shadle Park Dance Team her whole high school career, as a senior she was selected as their Captain for the 2015/2016 season. My wife Kim and I have always been active parents supporting both of our kids and the activities that they have shown interest in. To our amazement, it seems that our involvement has been just as rewarding for us as it has been for them. I was among the founding members of this organization, which also included Mrs. Miranda Hein (Coach) and several other parents. The goal that I have continually expressed for the Shadle Park Dance Organization was to support the coach in providing a quality dance program, have the team members focus on the art of dance, and support all students that want to actively participate. Initial focus of the organization was to build a parent driven support organization that could provide a continual funding resource to promote the education of dance, the performance arts, and team leadership. The most important attributes that I would like all dance members to leave the team with is a sense of community and building life long friendships. Best wishes to the Shadle Park Dance Team.
